About the MITP
Council

The Park Council is the collegial body for the strategic coordination of MITP’s activities, established under Government Decision 
No. 1144/2017, with a three-year mandate.

Composition of the Council:

  • 4 voting members appointed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization.
  • 5 voting members elected by the General Assembly of Park Residents, according to a procedure established by the Administration through 
the Regulation on the appointment of delegates.
  • Representatives of development partners and the associative 
sector – with observer status.

Council attributions

The Council meets whenever necessary, but not less than once per semester. Led by an elected President and supported by a Secretary representing the MITP Administration, it plays a vital role in ensuring 
good governance and the sustainable development of the Park, with 
the following responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinates the Park’s Development Strategy.
  • Coordinating the Administration's annual activity plan.
  • Reviewing the semi-annual and annual reports on the activity of 
the Park and its residents.
  • Coordinating the Administration's annual budget draft.
  • Coordinating the indicators subject to annual verification, in 
accordance with Article 18 of Law No. 77/2016.
  • Coordinating the risk management system applied within the 
Park Administration.
