Only two weeks remain for companies and startups from the Republic of Moldova to apply for MITP Awards 2026, the competition celebrating the most innovative products, services, startups, and high-impact initiatives in Moldova’s technology sector. Applications are open until September 15, 2026, to both Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP) residents and other IT, digital, and creative companies operating in the Republic of Moldova.
Organized by MITP, the competition aims to identify and showcase solutions developed in Moldova that demonstrate innovation, measurable impact, and strong potential to scale internationally. For participating companies, MITP Awards offers an opportunity to present their achievements to an international jury, gain greater visibility, and connect with Moldova’s growing technology and innovation ecosystem.
“Moldova is home to products, services, and technologies with every potential to compete internationally, and MITP Awards is about giving them the visibility and recognition they deserve. We encourage companies and teams that innovate, scale, and create meaningful impact to take advantage of these final two weeks and enter the competition. This year, we want to bring forward even more solutions and success stories that demonstrate the strength and potential of Moldova’s technology sector,” says Marina Bzovîi, Administrator of Moldova Innovation Technology Park.
Five Categories Celebrating Innovation
MITP Awards 2026 features five award categories:
- Best Product Innovation
- Best Service Innovation
- Best Startup
- Impactful Initiative of the Year
- Special Jury Prize – awarded exclusively at the jury’s discretion, with no application required.
Applications must be submitted by September 15, 2026, exclusively via awards.mitp.md.
What Happens Next?
Following the application deadline and validation process, eligible entries will be evaluated by an international jury bringing together local and international experts, including members of the Moldovan diaspora, with experience in entrepreneurship, investment, business, technology, and innovation. Applications will be assessed against criteria including originality, impact, scalability, and international market potential.
The jury pre-selection stage will take place between September 28 and October 15, with the finalists to be announced by October 22, 2026. The top three finalists in each of the four competitive categories will then have the opportunity to present their projects during Pitch Demo Day.
The winners of MITP Awards 2026 will be announced on December 16, 2026, during the MITP Awards Gala.
Launched in 2023, MITP Awards has grown into Moldova’s leading national competition recognizing excellence and innovation in the technology sector. With each edition, the competition brings forward companies, startups, and teams developing internationally competitive solutions and contributing to Moldova’s growing reputation as a destination for technology and innovation.
