MITP Awards is back in 2026 with a new mission: to identify, recognize, and promote the most innovative products, services, and startups developed in the Republic of Moldova, with the potential to generate impact on a regional and global scale. Organized by the Moldova Innovation Technology Park, the competition strengthens its position as the country's leading competition dedicated to tech excellence, giving companies a platform for visibility, recognition, and connection with experts and leaders from the international innovation ecosystem.

With over 2,900 resident companies within MITP and a tech ecosystem in constant growth, this year's edition aims to spotlight the next generation of digital products, services, and solutions that prove innovation born in Moldova can compete successfully on international markets.

MITP Awards exists to bring these stories to the forefront. We're looking for companies bold enough to innovate, scale, and inspire the entire industry. The competition celebrates excellence and creativity across five categories:

• Best Product Innovation
• Best Service Innovation
• Best Startup
• Impactful Initiative of the Year
• Special Jury Prize

Applications must be submitted exclusively through awards.mitp.md. The competition is open to all IT, digital, and creative companies operating in the Republic of Moldova - whether MITP residents, early-stage startups, or established industry players.

The competition will run from July 1 to December 16, 2026, and includes the following stages:

• Applications: July 1 – September 15, 2026
• Jury pre-selection: September 28 – October 15, 2026
• Finalists announced: by October 22, 2026
• MITP Awards Gala: December 16, 2026

Validated applications will be evaluated by an international jury made up of at least five local and international experts, including diaspora representatives — investors, entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, and mentors from global tech ecosystems. Each application will be assessed on criteria such as originality, impact, scalability, and potential for growth in international markets.

In the final stage, the top three finalists from each of the four competitive categories will present their projects at the Pitch Demo Day. The exception is the "Special Jury Prize" category, which does not require applications. This award will be given solely at the jury's discretion and announced at the MITP Awards Gala on December 16, 2026.

Launched in 2023, MITP Awards has become the leading national competition dedicated to recognizing performance and innovation in the tech sector. Edition after edition, the competition showcases companies and teams building internationally competitive solutions, helping strengthen Moldova's reputation as a destination for technology and innovation.

In the previous edition, the "Best Innovative Product" award went to KeyIVR, "Best Innovative Service" was won by Orange Systems, the "Impact Initiative of the Year" was awarded to the Endava Internship Programme, and Argus AI was named "Best Startup." The Special Jury Prize was awarded to Mega Promoting.
